2nd Zinc Smelting and Environment Conference - August 24-27, 2015 - Chifeng, Inner Mongolia, China

International Zinc Association will host the 2nd Zinc Smelting & Recycling Conference in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. The conference will be co-organized by NFC Kumba Chifeng Hongye Zinc Industry Co., Ltd, Hulun Buir Chihong Mining Co., Ltd., Outotec Oyj and others.  Presentations will focus on zinc smelting and refining technology and processes, equipment, recycling, and environmental issues.

4th International Zinc Symposium: Improving Crops and Human Health - October 15-17, 2015 - Sao Paulo, Brazil

19th Zinc & Its Markets Seminar, May 4-6, 2015, Helsinki, Finland

Reflecting the industry focus on supply-side issues, in 2015 this popular event on the zinc calendar moves north to Finland and the historic city of Helsinki. Scandinavia has a long history of zinc mining, smelting and production technology, and key features of the 2015 event will be post-Seminar visits to the Boliden Kokkola zinc smelter and to the Outotec Research Center at Pori.

Galvatech 2015, May 31 - June 4, 2015, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

The 10th International Conference on Zinc and Zinc Alloy Coated Steel Sheet (Galvatech 2015) will be held in Toronto, ON, Canada. Galvatech 2015 will be co-located with the 5th International Conference on Hot Sheet Metal Forming of High-Performance Steel (CHS2 2015). As part of the co-location with CHS² 2015, there will be special joint sessions on state of the art coated steel dedicated for hot stamping applications. Cross-conference access will be possible for all participants of both these conferences. There will also be a combined Exhibition.

Lead-Zinc Symposium 2015, June 14-17, 2015, Düsseldorf, Germany

Lead-Zinc 2015 will bring together plant operators, engineers and researchers to discuss all aspects of the hydrometallurgical, electrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processing of these commercially important metals. At the operations level, the intent is to outline benchmarking technologies as well as present plant operations and recent commercial developments.

PERUMIN - 32nd Mining Convention, September 21-25, 2015, Arequipa, Peru

The PERUMIN 32nd Mining Convention is hosted by the Peruvian Institute of Mining Engineers (IIMP, by its Spanish initials), a private nonprofit association that for 68 years has aimed at working jointly with different private and public organizations to help to create forums for dialogue, where actions to achieve the desired sustainable development in the country are created and implemented. The 32nd Mining Convention will include: Entrepreneurial Meeting, Extemin, Logistics Meeting, Technology & Research Meeting, Mining Law, and Top Mining.
