The 3rd International Zinc Symposium held in Hyderabad, India in October 2011 was featured in NewAg International's November issue.

The symposium program included 6 keynote speeches and 38 oral presentations. New Ag International was the official partner magazine of the event.

The article includes a report by Prof. Ismail Cakmak, Chairman of the symposium, on the findings of the symposium and an interview with Dr. Andrew Green which highlights the Zinc Nutrient Initiative.
