About Zinc College
Zinc College is a five-day international training program for the zinc industry. Subjects include zinc production, marketing and sales, applications, LME trading, statistics, communications, environment, health and crop nutrition and sustainable development and environment. The course includes lectures, working group sessions and a zinc refinery tour. An optional one-day mine visit will be organized on Friday, May 25 2012.
Zinc College instructors include zinc industry executives and key representatives from private and public institutions.
Zinc College is targeted at managers from all areas of zinc and zinc-using companies and others with an interest in zinc. Fees are US$ 3,000. Non-IZA member fees are US$ 5,000 and acceptance is on an availability basis. Fees include tuition, most meals, evening activities and a visit of the zinc refinery of Votorantim Metais in Juiz de Fora.
Zinc College 2012 is organized by the International Zinc Association in cooperation with Votorantim Metais.
