The American Zinc Association
is a Washington, D.C. based trade organization comprised of primary and secondary producers of zinc metal, zinc oxide and zinc dust marketed in the United States, as well as consumers.
AZA is the voice for zinc in the United States-- the world's second largest single-country market. Through active public policy and public relations programs, AZA seeks to influence the development of legislation and regulations which impact zinc and to educate the public and key audience about the metal.
The AZA is also affiliated with the International Zinc Association (IZA) a non-profit organization, based in Brussels, Belgium, which represents the world zinc industry. IZA provides a forum for the zinc industry to address global issues through collaborative efforts in Sustainable Development, Technology & Market Development, Environment and Communications.
