About Zinc College
Zinc College is a five-day international training program which is held every two years in a different part of the world. It covers key areas of the zinc business including exploration, mining, production, marketing, trading, communications, environment, health and sustainable development. The program features lectures, case studies, working group sessions and a visit to a zinc refinery. Zinc College instructors are senior executives from IZA member companies and consultants from public and private organizations.
Zinc College is targeted at zinc industry managers from all areas of the industry. The program is also of interest to persons working in zinc user industries, trading, financial institutions and other related businesses. Attendance is open to members and non-members of IZA.
2014 Zinc College will be held in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India from September 7-11. It is organized by International Zinc Association (IZA) in association with Hindustan Zinc Limited.

Registration will open later in March. An announcement will be circulated to IZA member companies when registration is available.
Zinc College fees include tuition, course materials, a refinery visit, lunches, mid-morning/mid-afternoon breaks and most dinners.
Standard rate: US$ 5,000
Rate for IZA members: US$ 3,000
IZA has reserved a block of rooms for Zinc College participants at a preferential rate at the conference hotel. Details will be provided upon the opening of the registration process.
